Another 1st for Jamega Pro Golf

Andy GardinerHistory was made at our tournament at Five Lakes when the professional ranks were increased by one.

Amateurs turning professional with Jamega is a common occurance but at this tournament Andy Gardiner made golfing history by becoming the first amputee to turn professional.

Andy, an ex British Pistol Shooting Team member, had his lower right leg severely damaged in a freak accident and thereafter having to spend years in a wheelchair has now found a prosthethis which gives him sufficient stability to enable him not only to take up golf but to become a scratch amateur and now onto the stage as a professional.
