rankings to the extent that he has now achieved his dream of obtaining his European Tour Card for 2012, all at Jamega Pro Golf are delighted with this superb achievement and wish him every success for the future.
As reported by the BBC, Wellingborough-based professional Simon Lilly has entered the record books by becoming the first player to shoot a round under 60 in a professional event in the UK. Lilly, who qualified for the 2011 Open Championship, carded a round of 59 (13 under par) to win the Jamega Tour's Winter Series event at the Bedford Golf Club. Lilly will play in the second stage of qualifying for the European Tour in Spain next month. The feat has been achieved several times on the PGA Tour, with Stuart Appleby and Paul Goydos both recording 59's in 2010.
